“Gardeners & Makers Market” Every Thursday on Clifton Plaza
As you may have noticed, spring is starting to make its presence felt, and whenever that happens Clifton Plaza fully blooms. This spring the Plaza is launching a new tradition that will take place once a week. The Gardeners and Makers Market is an opportunity for Clifton residents to sell homemade and garden goods. You can think of it as a “popup” that gives people a chance to mingle in Clifton’s outdoor living room. Weather permitting, this event will take place starting with the first Thursday in April though October. Hours are 4pm to 7pm.
Many people in Clifton like to garden, and these events offer them a chance to sell produce, canned goods, baked goods, seeds, seedlings, jam, any plants being divided and thinned, and other food items. Craft items that come to mind would include soaps, candles, jewelry, pottery, knitted items such as hats and mittens, works of art, and more. There’s no fee for selling, and no registration is necessary. Basically, show up with your own table/tent/display, set up, and Voila!, you can start selling.
If you have questions about any details about these events, including items you might wish to sell, you can email Clifton Town Meeting at [email protected].
